- What is microcap investor relations?
- It is investor relations for public companies small enough that the usual machinery does not reach them: few or no analysts, thin trading, and a shareholder register built one fund at a time. The SEC describes microcap stocks as those of companies with a market value under about $250 million to $300 million.
- How is it different from investor relations at a large company?
- A large company has analysts who explain it to investors every quarter. A microcap usually does not, so the company has to find its own investors, reach analysts who might cover it, and give individual investors something to read. The chief financial officer often does all of it alongside the finance job.
- Can Krypton AI get us analyst coverage?
